Robson joins the hoops, Samaras scores on debut.

Celtic secured the signature of Dundeee United Midfielder and Scotland International Barry Robson before the close of the transfer window. And Georgios Samaras scored on his Celtic debut against Kilmarnock in the 5th round of the Scottish Cup.

Celtic have signed Georgious Samaras, a Greek International, on loan until the end of this season with the option of a permanent deal. The player has gone out of favor at Manchester City and jumped at the chance to join Celtic. Samaras formerly played for Heerenveen where he scored 29 goals in one season and also has scored several goals for the Greek National Team.

Celti also finalised the deal to bring Koki Mizuno from Japanese side JEF United. He will link up wth his compatriot Shunsuke Nakamura at Celtic Park.

Along with Ben Hutchinson from Middlesboro that is three players signed for Celtic this week. Expect more news in the next three days as the transfer window comes to a close. Hutchinson will join this summer having signed a pre contract, but Celtic may push to have him join sooner.
